Gama completes acquisition of Lees Avionics Ltd - 10/09/2008
Gama Holdings Ltd is delighted to announce that it has finalised the acquisition of Lees Avionics Ltd, one of the UK’s leading aircraft avionics companies, based at Wycombe Air Park in Buckinghamshire. The company will continue to operate as Lees Avionics Ltd.
Established in 1991, Lees Avionics has enjoyed steady growth in the intervening 17 years to the point where it is now an EASA Part 21J design organisation and represents the vast majority of the world’s major avionics suppliers. The company’s comprehensive approvals allow it to design, install and manufacture avionics solutions for all types of aircraft from jet and piston to gliders, sailplanes and airships through to helicopters and gyroplanes. With the addition of Lees Avionics, working alongside Gama’s existing EASA Part 145 aircraft maintenance and Part 21 design organisation, Gama Support Services Ltd, the group is now able to offer full design, modification and installation services on virtually any aircraft.

Harry continues in his role as Managing Director and will be responsible for integrating and expanding the business over the coming years.
