Gama Aviation: "Best Operator" - 30/10/2009

For the second year running, Gama are delighted to announce that the Council and members of the Baltic Air Charter Association have awarded them the Excellence Award for Best General Aviation Operator at the Association's 60th anniversary luncheon held at London's famous Guildhall.  BACA is one of the leading trade associations for air charter brokers, customers and operators worldwide.

BACA's Annual Excellence Awards honour quality and distinguished service within the air charter industry.  The Awards are voted for by the members of BACA, meaning that the Awards are voted for by the company's peers and customers.  This year's awards were presented by TV presenter Clare Balding.

In his acceptance speech Marwan Khalek, Group CEO, congratulated the team at Gama for their hard work in a tough year for business aviation in general and also took the opportunity to congratulate Paul Cremer and his team in the commercial department.  He also thanked the company's suppliers for their unstinting support, singling out TAG Farnborough Airport and Signature Flight Support Luton for their particular help as the company's largest bases.  He closed by thanking the industry for their business over the past 18 months and for their work in continuing to make corporate aircraft a key tool for the world's companies.
